Update (July 13, 3:52 p.m.): The city announced additional traffic changes Monday as work continues on the Valley Creek Road project. Valley Creek Road is scheduled to reopen between Donegal Drive and Interlachen Parkway Tuesday morning, with Interlachen Parkway also reopening in the area. Valley Creek Road east of Interlachen Parkway will remain closed.

Also Tuesday, Jewel Drive north of Valley Creek Road is scheduled to close for approximately two days. All other current road and trail closures remain in effect.

The city also said construction continues at the water treatment plant. While most work will occur during regular weekday hours, crews may occasionally work extended weekday hours and weekends.

The traffic signal on Bailey Road at the new Math and Science Academy campus is now operational.

The single open lanes of traffic on Woodlane Drive will shift from the east side to the west side of the road Wednesday, July 15.

Temporary water shutoffs are scheduled to begin July 13 to reconnect businesses on Woodlane Drive between Wooddale Drive and Courtly Road. Shutoffs are planned between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Notices will be provided to affected properties.

Reopenings

One westbound lane of Valley Creek Road between Woodbury Drive and Catalina Drive is now open.

The trail underpass beneath Valley Creek Road between Jewel Drive and Spinnaker Drive has reopened, restoring access to Colby Lake Park.

Trails and Paths

The trail on the east side of Woodlane Drive between Bailey Road and Courtly Road will close Wednesday, July 15.
