Backpack, School Supply Drives Underway Across Woodbury

The excitement of a new school year often begins before students ever step into their classrooms. A backpack, fresh notebooks and the rest of the recommended supplies can help students feel confident, prepared and ready to begin the year alongside their classmates. For some families, purchasing supplies for their children can be a financial challenge. Rising costs for everyday necessities can place essential classroom supplies beyond the reach of many families. More than a month before students return to class, local organizations, businesses and volunteers across the three school districts serving Woodbury are already organizing backpack and school supply drives.
