WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – The summer forecast is for hot weather and bored kids. Luckily there is still time to find summer camps and programs where kids can learn skills, make friends, and fight off boredom and screen-time.
The listing below, while not complete, contains most general programs as well as specialty camps in Woodbury and nearby communities. With camp registration opening as early as January, some popular programs are full, but there are surprising openings and waiting lists to check out.
The first section includes organizations with multiple camps and classes as well as programs that fill the campers’ days with such an eclectic mix of activities that they don’t fit in a single category. There is a link for every program to make choosing and registration easier.
If you don’t have a bored kid to distract you this summer, do your neighbors, relatives, and co-workers a favor by sharing the list.
