Slick City officially opened its doors in Woodbury on Tuesday with a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new indoor slide park off of Settlers Ridge Parkway.
The Woodbury location marks the largest of 30 Slick City franchises across the country and can accommodate about 600 guests at a time.
“I’m glad we decided to pivot from our territory down in San Antonio, Texas when Woodbury came up,” said Mike Kelly, franchisee of the new Slick City. “Let’s take Woodbury, Texas can be in the back burner. We are just really excited to be part of this community.”

The 52,000-square-foot park features 19 slides, three of which are unique to this park and not found at the Maple Grove location. The layout also includes an expanded “Junior Jungle” area designed primarily for children 5 and under, giving younger guests space to practice on smaller slides before advancing to larger attractions.
“Some people are calling it a waterless water park,” said Slick City General Manager Kevin Starr. “The slides are the big attraction that separates us from the generic trampoline park.”
The park also includes two dodgeball air courts, a basketball air court, an “Acrobat Alley” with a swing and trapeze that land into an air bag and a zip rail suspended above the activity floor.
The facility is the only Slick City location to heavily invest in a larger arcade, the biggest in the brand. It is also the first to include a full redemption counter, allowing guests to exchange points for prizes ranging “from a tootsie roll all the way up to a drone,” Starr said.

Birthday parties are expected to be a major draw, with dozens of picnic tables dedicated to celebrations and multiple VIP party rooms available for private rentals. The Woodbury location anticipates hosting more than 40 birthday parties per day on peak weekends once bookings begin.
