All outdoor ice skating rinks and warming houses in Woodbury are closed until further notice because of warm, wet conditions that have prevented safe ice formation.
The closures include the outdoor rink at the M Health Fairview Sports Center, a popular community skating spot, as well as Colby Lake Park, Kargel Park, Ojibway Park and Shawnee Park.
Parks and Recreation officials say the rinks will reopen once conditions are suitable for safe skating and ice maintenance.
Residents looking for up-to-date information on rink status and conditions can call the Parks and Recreation weather hotline at 651-714-3569 or the M Health Fairview Sports Center at 651-714-3740. Outdoor ice activities remain weather dependent, and forecasts showing mid-30s temperatures over the next few days are expected to delay any reopening.
