My good Irish mother (her maiden name was Greene) used to say that all you need to do to honor St. Patrick is go to church. Luckily there are plenty of other ways to honor him in the east metro. There are lots of options for the wearin’, eatin’ and drinkin’ of the green whether you’re Irish every day or just on March 17.
O’Malley’s Saint Paddy’s Day Celebration 1775 Valley Creek Road. This Irish pub at the heart of Woodbury’s celebration observes the holiday with a week of specials. The breakfast buffet starts at 8 a.m. on the 17th to usher in a crowded day of green beer, corned beef and cabbage, and live music.
