WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – Construction has begun on a new affordable housing development called “Settlers Ridge.”
The 126 units in the complex will have a variety of options ranging from one to four bedrooms. Each apartment features walk-in closets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, an in-unit washer and dryer, and a private deck.
The new development is located on Karen Drive, near the Hudson Road and Settlers Ridge Parkway intersection.
Construction of a second part of the project is expected to start around August or September. That second part, called “Phase II” by the construction company, will include the same unit count and layout.
Homes are slated to open in the spring of 2026.
The complex will have an above ground parking garage, and amenities including a fitness area, club room, playground, dog run and grill stations.
Big-D Construction Midwest is the builder for the project. Cory Schubert, President of Big-D Construction Midwest said, “Settlers Ridge will be another great project with Real Estate Equities… We are happy to be back in the City of Woodbury, adding affordable housing to the community.”
