WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – Construction on updates to East Ridge High School is slated to start in March.
The construction will consist of a number of things including:
- Construction of an addition to increase the capacity of the school to 2,300 students.
- A kitchen and cafeteria expansion to serve future student population growth.
- Construction of additional Career and Technical Education and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) spaces to support future growth and curricular offerings.
- Reconfigured drive lanes and parking lot to enhance traffic flow and safety for parent pickup and drop-off.
- A redesigned plaza space at the Athletics and Activities entrance.
- Renovation of existing spaces to expand and enhance Special Education and Online learning.
The South Washington County School District released the artist’s rendering on a number of parts of the project.
