The Washington County Board approved of a contract with Children’s Dental Services on Jan. 6 to provide care at monthly clinics The non-profit dental service cares for children born through age 26 and pregnant women will be provided at the District Service Center 1261 Woodlane Drive.
Available dental care will include examinations, x-rays, cleanings, fluoride treatments, plastic sealants, fillings, crowns, extractions and other treatments. The practice accepts Medical Assistance, Minnesota Care, and private insurance to cover costs. For those without dental insurance, a sliding fee scale is available.
The county’s Department of Public Health and Environment has had a contract with CDS since 2009.
CDS has been providing oral healthcare to the youngest Minnesotans since 1919. They care for low income families at three other clinics in the state as well as in satellite clinics in Washington County and 65 other counties statewide.
