Two of the county’s big orange snowplows will not be nameless much longer. Final voting in the Name the Snowplow contest is now underway and will continue through Jan. 23 at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WCNameAPlowFinalist.
More than 1,400 suggestions were submitted for the previously unnamed vehicles. County staff narrowed the list to a set of finalist names that will be painted on the plows that widen driving lanes on county roads.
Finalist names include the wicked Blizzard of Oz and Minnesota’s favorite circle game, Duck Duck Orange Truck. No registration or identification is required to vote. Results are expected by the end of the month.
