Easton Macoy Kleven, 20, of Woodbury, was killed late Friday night when his motorcycle crashed on the Interstate 94 East entrance ramp at Huron Boulevard in Minneapolis.
Police said Kleven’s 2009 Kawasaki EX650 motorcycle was traveling at high speed under dry conditions when it crashed into the barrier on the ramp around 11 p.m.
He was ejected onto the right shoulder of I-94 East while the motorcycle came to rest behind him.
Kleven was wearing a helmet, according to police. He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have ruled out alcohol as a factor.
Kleven is a graduate of East Ridge High School where he was a member of the hockey team.
