WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – A PGA TOUR Superstore is planning to open June 14 at 1555 Queens Drive in the retail area near Valley Creek Road and Bielenberg Drive.
“This is a booming golf market. With 95 golf courses in the area, the metro Twin Cities are an obvious expansion market for us,” Ron Gornick, Woodbury General Manager, PGA TOUR Superstore, said. “Our knowledgeable staff will help everyone looking to experience the joy of the game.”
The store opens at 9 a.m. on June 14 with the promise of thousands of dollars of merchandise giveaways to the first guests in line.
The 35,735 square-foot superstore will offer more than shopping. It features 1264-square-feet of indoor putting greens, six practice and play bays, four additional simulators for club fitting and an interactive demonstration bay for in-home golf simulators.
Lessons are available in-store from certified teaching professionals, along with a repair shop that offers club regripping, adjustments and repairs.
The store also caters to players who favor the court over the course. Pickleball and tennis players will find racquets, paddles, equipment and apparel for their game.
“We are eager to welcome guests through our doors next month and look forward to becoming a valued partner in supporting this local community,” Gornick said.
The Woodbury store, located in the spot that formerly housed Xperience Fitness, will be the second in the region. The PGA TOUR Superstore in Minnetonka opened in 2016.
PGA TOUR Superstore is operated by Golf & Tennis Pro Shop Inc., a subsidiary of AMB Sports + Entertainment and is headquartered in metro Atlanta. As the PGA TOUR’s exclusive off-course/off-airport retail partner in North America, PGA TOUR Superstore provides customers with access to the same technology and expertise as card-carrying PGA TOUR pros.
