WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – Ross Dress For Less – a national off-price apparel and home fashion chain – plans to open a store in Tamarack Village in Woodbury.
“When considering specific store locations, important factors we look for include favorable demographics that are in sync with our target customer, healthy densities of population as well as good visibility, high traffic, and strong co-tenancy,” a corporate spokesperson told Woodbury News Net.
The store will be about 26,000 square feet. The store is expected to open this year but no specific date has been set. “We sell a wide assortment of name brand and designer apparel, accessories, footwear, and home fashions for the entire family at savings of 20 percent to 60 percent off department and specialty store regular prices every day,” the spokesperson said.
Ross Stores, Inc,, has its headquarters in Dublin, Calif. It operates 1,831 Ross Dress for Less locations in 43 states. The company also operates 355 dd’s DISCOUNTS stores in 22 states. In 2023, Ross Stores earned $20.4 billion in revenue.
In October, the company opened a Ross Dress for Less in the Sun Ray Shopping Center in St. Paul and another one at the Birch Run Station strip mall in Maplewood. Their other Minnesota location is in St. Cloud.
