WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – A national retailer offering golf gear, hitting bays, putting greens, and golf simulators will open in Woodbury late this spring or by early summer. PGA TOUR Superstore will be located at 1555 Queens Dr. in a space formerly occupied by Xperience Fitness.
“With more than 100 courses in the Twin Cities region, in addition to some of the best courses in the US, we look forward to being part of the Woodbury community,” the company said in a statement to WNN. “We offer everything a new or avid golfer needs and look forward to our ‘tee-time’ later this year.”
The store will be the second in the region. The PGA TOUR Superstore in Minnetonka opened in 2016.
The 35,800-square-foot Woodbury store will offer gear, apparel, and accessories as well as six practice hitting bays and five golf simulators. Two large indoor putting greens will total 1,264 square feet. “We also offer club fittings, lessons from certified teaching professionals, and on-site club regripping and repairs,” the statement added.
The store also offers gear for people who would rather take to the court than the course. “Whether you are a pickleball fanatic or a seasoned tennis pro, shoppers can find the right racquets, paddles, equipment and apparel for their game,” according to the statement.
The Minnetonka store rates 3.9 stars on Google. “Nice store with an excellent selection,” one reviewer wrote. “Everyone I have interacted with has been super helpful, and their customer service is fantastic. I will definitely be coming back!”
