Rich Radke

Rich Radke is a 20+ year resident of Woodbury and brings a wide range of experiences to Woodbury News Net’s business operations and governance. He brings lessons learned from establishing and operating a small business, creating and operating another nonprofit organization, and from over nine years managing multiple workgroups and “clean sheet” change initiatives in Corporate America.

Rich has volunteered extensively within the SoWashCo School District through volunteer board and committee participation, as well as serving four years as an AmeriCorps reading tutor. He created the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Boundtobe…, with the help of his then-elementary school aged children, which went on to collect and distribute 17,500+ gently used children’s books to area children with the greatest financial need. Since October of 2022, in an effort to keep his community informed in the absence of a local news source, Rich has been publishing bi-weekly SoWashCo School Board meeting summaries in local social groups totaling 50,000+ members.

Rich graduated from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications. Previously, he earned a Certificate in Race Car Performance from Chaffey College. He has earned a number of licensures and certifications ranging from Automotive Service Excellence Master Tech Certification to Chartered Life Underwriter to several Six Sigma Belts.

When not volunteering, or watching the Twins with his wife of 19 years, you will find Rich with his nose in a book.
