Road construction is bringing fresh traffic impacts to Radio Drive and Tamarack Drive in Woodbury this week.

Tamarack Road

The entrance and exit ramps at I-494 and Tamarack Road will be closed every night from Sunday, August 17, until Wednesday, August 20. The ramps will close at 7 p.m. and reopen at 6 a.m. The top layer of the roadway surface will be removed and replaced. In addition, Stephens Way will be closed during this overnight period from Tamarack Road while access from Bielenberg Drive will remain open. 

A city news release also reminds drivers that Tamarack is reduced to one lane in each direction for the Tamarack Road Rehabilitation Project from Radio Drive to Weir Drive.

Radio Drive

On Monday, August 18, southbound Radio Drive will be narrowed to one lane from Pinehurst Road to Valley Creek Road for water main construction. City staff expect that this restriction and the additional congestion at the intersection will last until the middle of October.
