They choose the worst musical ever written, Springtime for Hitler, but unexpectedly, the show becomes a massive success. The story is filled with outrageous humor, quirky characters, and catchy songs, culminating in a hilarious and chaotic conclusion. Juneteenth—Honoring Resilience, Saturday, June 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Ojibway Park. The fifth annual community celebration hosted by Woodbury for Justice and Equality will celebrate how far we’ve come and how far we still need to go. Activities include table hosts from local community partners and black owned businesses, dance performances by Afrocontigbo, drumming and poetry performers from Irreducible Grace Foundation, music by DJ Madison Sound, speakers, kids activities, and free BBQ chicken and grilled hot dogs to all who attend. Milk Mart ice cream truck will also be onsite for purchased desserts.
