WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – For the fifth straight season, Woodbury-native Mya Hooten has been named an All-American by the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA)
The University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management student was named a Second Team All-American on floor.
She’s now a five-time WCGA All-American on floor exercises (four-time first team) and a three-time WCGA All-American on vault (two-time second team).
Student-athletes with the top eight National Qualifying Scores for the regular season in each event plus the all-around earned All America honors. Second team All-America honors are earned by student-athletes ranked 9-16.
Lexy Ramler (2018-22) is the only other Gopher to earn WCGA All-America honors in five consecutive seasons. She earned eight nods during her college career.
