WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – The Woodbury State of the City event is scheduled for Thursday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m. at the Eagle Valley Golf Course clubhouse.
It is free and all are welcome to attend. Mayor Anne Burt tells Woodbury News Net, “Everyone is welcome!”
Mayor Anne Burt will present and introduce city department heads. They will provide updates on key city projects and initiatives within their departments.
The Mayor continued, “We are excited about some changes we’ve made to the program this year to provide an opportunity for the community to engage with us on a more personal level. We’ve added a social hour for casual mingling (and a cash bar). In addition, our staff experts will be more involved this year, providing updates on a few of their major projects and initiatives.”
Following the presentations, Mayor Burt and the staff leaders will take questions from the audience.
After the formal program there will be an informal social gathering with the City Council and staff in the newly renovated Eagle’s Nest bar area in the clubhouse.
Mayor Burt added, ”For those who can’t join us, check out the annual State of the City video update on our social media accounts the day after the program.”
