WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – Woodbury High School Senior Emily Anderson has won a $1,000 scholarship for her essay reflecting on the positive impact art and creativity has on her life.

Anderson wrote in part, “I didn’t always realize the impact of art on my life. It’s not just a hobby or a skill. This gift has shaped my life and given me purpose.’
She plans on attending the University of Wisconsin-Stout in fall 2025.
Brian Sherrick, CEO of Ideal Credit Union said, “On behalf of everyone at Ideal Credit Union, we extend our congratulations to Emily and wish her all the best as she pursues a college education.”
