The Woodbury City Council this week approved permits for Slick City Action Park, an indoor slide and trampoline park, and the farmers’ market planned for Sundays this summer and fall.
Mike and Annie Kelley will be the owners of the 50,000 square foot recreational center at 587 Settlers Ridge Parkway in northeast Woodbury.
The business will feature 14 slides, two sports courts, play areas, two party rooms, a cafe, and an acrobat alley with trapeze, swing, and zipline.
Mike Kelley told the council he hopes to open the facility by the end of the year. A location in Maple Grove could open as early as next week.
The farmers’ market will return to Red Rock Elementary School for the second year.
It moved last year because of construction at Central Park.
The market will operate from June 1 to October 26 on Sundays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Products include seasonal produce like vegetables, apples and mushrooms as well as meat, cheese, baked goods, bread, cottage food items like salsas and jams, ready-to-eat food, drinks, and flower bouquets.
