COTTAGE GROVE (WNN) – A bus driver at Park High School was removed from a bus and arrested for DUI.
It was not immediately released which route the driver was assigned to.
Cottage Grove Police Department say they got a call for a bus driver that was under the influence.
The call came in at 3:11pm, February 26, 2025.
The school administrative staff had already removed the keys from the bus when officers arrived.
The School Resource Officer assigned to Park High School and additional officers say they found probable cause to arrest the 36-year-old man for DUI.
The driver was brought to the Cottage Grove Police Department where officers conducted a search warrant for his blood.
The driver was then transported to the Washington County Jail on probable cause 3rd Degree DUI, child endangerment.
