WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – Metro Transit will celebrate the launch of the Gold Line Bus Rapid Transit on March 22, 2025.
Plans include a ribbon cutting and media event at the Woodlane Park & Ride at 10 a.m.. followed by ceremonial first rides leaving the Woodlane Park & Ride at 10:45.
A community celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Woodlane Park & Ride will include:
Family activities & entertainment
- Free commemorative poster (while supplies last)
- Kids art table
- Photo station
- Meet Metro Transit mascot Skip Traffic! Expected appearance from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
- Community outreach booths
- Cookies from Cookie Cart and hot cider
- Food trucks
The address of the Woodlane Park and Ride Station is 1108 Woodlane Drive.
A similar community celebration will be held at the Sun Ray Station Park & Ride from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m on the same day.
