The Woodbury Community Foundation Winter Clothing Drive collected more than 1,800 items this season helping more than 450 young people stay warm.
The 2024 Clothing Drive is a partnership with SoWashCo CARES whose mission is to work with the community to set students up for success in every way possible.
The Winter Clothing Drive ran from October through December with collection boxes at 26 local businesses and non-profit organizations.
Jerry’s Foods and the Woodbury YMCA were the most productive collection sites with approximately 400 items each.
In addition, $1,146 in monetary donations were received.
