Five people were officially sworn-in for their new jobs at the January 22nd Woodbury City Council Meeting.
Officer Simon Garcia Rocha is joining the police department. Officer Garcia Rocha was previously a Woodbury Police Reserve.
The Firefighter/EMTs that were sworn-in include Jake Brown, Emily Mahon, Michael Mitsuda and Connor O’Sullivan.
Mayor Anne Burt swore-in all of the news officers.
Public Safety Director Jason Posel did the introduction of the Badge Pinning Ceremony. Assistant Public Safety Director Omar Maklad and Assistant Public Safety Director Chris Klein were also on hand explaining the meaning of the Police and Firefighter/EMS Badges respectively.
