The Woodbury Police Department has confirmed that a woman was struck by a garbage truck and killed on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at about 6:15 a.m. near Autumn Drive and Autumn Bay. The department says it won’t release the victim’s name until its investigation into the accident is completed.

The Woodbury Police Department has begun an investigation after an accident that neighbors say involved a garbage truck striking a pedestrian Tuesday morning near Autumn Drive. No information about the victim or victim’s condition has been released. Police Commander Tom Ehrenberg said the Minnesota State Patrol will reconstruct the accident as part of the investigation. We’ll update this story when we learn more.
