Destination: Woodbury, the city’s official destination marketing organization, recently published its first Woodbury Visitor Guide.
“Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a long-time resident, the guide is your go-to resource for discovering everything Woodbury has to offer, from things to do and exploring more than 135 local restaurants to finding fun, family-friendly events and more,” Manager Eric Satre said.
The guide provides an overview of what makes up Woodbury’s “good life.” Depending on your interests, options include shopping, family activities, outdoor adventures, and arts and culture.
Destination: Woodbury, whose mission is to attract visitors, is funded by the local hotel lodging tax, Satre said.
“We promote local amenities, events and things to do while prioritizing city-owned facilities, Central Park and M Health Fairview Sports Center, as detailed in the organization’s strategic plan,” he said.
The organization also is preparing to launch a new marketing campaign promoting the much-anticipated reopening of Central Park.
Residents and visitors can pick up a printed guide at City Hall during regular business hours. A free parks and trails map also is available.
Destination: Woodbury also maintains a website at destinationwoodbury.com.
