A key road just north of Woodbury is under construction. Beginning today, Monday, August 11, the southbound lane of Manning Avenue in Lake Elmo is closed from County Highway 10 to 40th Street.
This is the third phase of the safety improvement project for Manning Avenue, or County Highway 15.
The work includes:
Adding center left turn lanes and right turn lanes
Eliminating 18th Street North access to Manning
Connecting a trail from 18th Street North to 18th Street Court
Rehabilitating the pavement
Washington County says the project is anticipated to be finished at the end of October.
Inwood Avenue Project
Also north of Woodbury, work continues on Inwood Avenue North, or Highway 13. The northbound lane of Inwood Avenue North is closed while the southbound lane is open.
The project includes pavement resurfacing, drainage improvements, repair of roadway and driveway culverts, installation of new center left turn lanes at 21st Street North and 26th Street North, and signage replacement and striping.
The work is expected to be completed next month.
