WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – A fire that appears to have started inside a garage engulfed that structure as well as a part of the attached house yesterday in Woodbury.
In a statement, the Woodbury Public Safety Department said the fire department was called to the property on Woodbridge Circle at about 8 a.m. Firefighters found the garage and a portion of the home “fully involved.”
Fire departments from Cottage Grove, Oakdale, Maplewood, St Paul Park, and Newport helped fight the fire through mutual assistance compacts.
The cause is still under investigation. Assistant Public Safety Director Chris Klein said the fire does not appear to be connected to other recent fires in Woodbury.
