The Wingstop restaurant opened at 7455 Currell Blvd.
WOODBURY, MN (WNN) – A restaurant that specializes in a variety of flavorful chicken wings has opened near Bielenberg Drive and Valley Creek Road.
The Wingstop location at 7455 Currell Blvd. is the furthest east in the metro, with the next closest one in St. Paul. Chicago-based ARS Brands said in a social media post it’s “beyond thrilled” to open the Woodbury location. “This isn’t just any opening – Woodbury marks a huge milestone as ARS Brands’ 100th location,” the post states. “We couldn’t have done it without our incredible team and partners.”
Wingstop is open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., increasing options for residents with late-night cravings.
The restaurant offers 11 flavors like lemon pepper and original hot. Earlier this month, Wingstop unveiled a limited-time flavor, Mexican Street Spice inspired by the taste of Mexican street corn.
“Only Wingstop, the flavor experts, could take the taste of Mexican street corn and turn it into an unexpected and craveable wing flavor,” Wingstop’s Chief Revenue Officer, Mark Christenson, said in a news release. “A huge hit in testing, Mexican Street Spice is an iconic summer flavor.”
At the end of March, there were 2,301 Wingstops in the U.S. The company added 126 nationally in the first quarter of the year.
