A paving project on Century Avenue South from I-94 almost to I-494 is being planned.
(WOODBURY, MN) – WNN – Washington County is holding open houses for a Century Avenue South pavement project in Woodbury and an intersection improvement project in Lake Elmo.
Lake Elmo Project
On Wednesday, May 28, the public can learn more about the work planned for the intersection of County Highway 10 (10th Street North), County Highway 17 (Lake Elmo Avenue North), and County Road 17B (Lake Elmo Avenue North). The open house will be in the Oak-Land Middle School, 820 Manning Ave. N., Lake Elmo, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The goal is to improve intersection control, manage and treat highway drainage and runoff, and improve pedestrian and bicycle facilities. Century Avenue South Project
The next day, Thursday, May 29, an open house will be held about the Century Avenue South (Highway 25) pavement project. It will be held in the Woodbury Middle School Cafeteria, 1425 School Dr., Woodbury, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The pavement improvement project stretches 1.9 miles on Century Avenue from the I-94 exit almost all the way south to I-494. The project aims to improve the roadway surface and update roadway signage. Project updates will be found here.
Open Houses
At each open house, the public can meet the project team, provide input on existing conditions, and learn about the project schedule and next steps. The day after each event, the public can visit the project websites to view material shared at the in-person events. There will be no formal presentation at the open houses.
